The Truth About Regrowing Hair
Here’s the reality: If you are experiencing hair loss, it is possible to regrow more hair per follicle. Each follicle has the potential to produce 1-4 hairs, but when hair loss occurs, the follicle miniaturizes, reducing the amount of space for hair growth. For instance, a follicle that once produced 4 hairs may decrease to 3, 2, or even 1. Eventually, the follicle will die and become scarred.
If hair loss is detected during the thinning stage, it is possible to regrow hair where there is still hair present, even if that follicle is only producing one hair.
However, it is not possible to naturally regrow hair where there is no hair present, unless you have Alopecia Areata, where the follicles are dormant and haven’t fully died.
